If you are reclaiming your pet, please bring a form of photo ID and any proof of ownership you have. You will also need to bring a carrier for your cat or small animal as we will NOT release them to travel in a car unrestrained. There may be a reclaim fee to cover costs incurred while your animal has been in the care of SPCA.

Free Bowel Cancer Screening
In Mid Central, free bowel screening is available for Māori and Pacific people aged 50 – 74 and from 60 to 74 for everyone else.
Around your birthday, you will receive an invitation, followed by a bowel screening test kit.
The bowel screening test is quick and simple to do by yourself at home. Make sure you do the test as soon as possible and send it back.
