Our cat Tweek (female) has been missing since the 7th of October, she is 16, has a weepy eye and is a rather small cat. She has bad hips and hates being picked up but is a very sweet independent cat. She has never been away from home longer than a day and hardly leaves the house so we are very worried. We would love to know what has happened to her and miss her heaps.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
