white cat lost in Kelburn ( named Lunaa)
Our beautiful white with black spots kitten Lunaa (7 and a half months old and microchipped but with no tags) went missing last night (16 Oct) around 9 pm and has not returned. She'd only just been introduced to the outdoors. She's a feisty being but also a scaredy-cat too (doesn't like people much or loud noises) and she freaks easily at most things so we expect she has been spooked by something and is hiding out somewhere.
Pet name: Lunaa
Gender: Female
Age: 7.5 months

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
