Covid 19
With the safety of our staff, members, family/whanau, visitors and the wider community in mind, Alzheimers Whanganui has cancelled all our Group outings and gatherings for the next three weeks. We have not made this decision lightly and realise this may adversely impact our carers and clients. We will be in regular contact with all of our members and ask the community to make contact with any elderly in your neighbourhood to ensure they are safe. If you have any concerns staff will still be working from our office and can be contacted on 06) 3458833 or email: admin@alzheimerswhanganui.org.nz. Let us take care of each other and stay safe

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
