Drop In Book Fair - Saturday 18 November
The monthly Rotary Club of Whanganui Drop in Book Fair will be held in the Hall of the All Saints Church in the Whanganui East Shopping Centre. between 11am and 3pm. A great selection of Fiction together with many in the Health and Wellbeing categories. Books cost $2 each.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
