Drop In Book sale - 21 June
The Rotary Club of Whanganui will be holding its next "Drop In" Book Sale next Wednesday, 21 June, in the Hall at the All Saints Church in Whanganui East. The Book Sale will be open from 11.00am to 3.00pm and all books will cost $2 only. In addition to a wide range of Fiction there will be books in the Specialty Areas of Cooking and History.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
