Meet Cath and Shayne!

The Team from Neighbours Aotearoa

Welcome back Cath & Shayne 👋🏼 our wonderful Neighbours Day Aotearoa Community Connectors based in Te Matau-a-Māui / Hawkes Bay

This is Cath and Shayne's second year being part of Neighbours Day Aotearoa. Lucky you and lucky us!

"This is a very cool role as we get to help people to connect in the community and that is something we love doing! We just love community and what could be better than connecting and sharing with kai. Who wouldn’t love a pot of jam, a tin of bikkies, or being invited over to someone’s home and getting to know each other around the kitchen table? That’s our happy space." Cath

They look forward to supporting people or organisations in Hawkes Bay to find ways to get involved.

Consultation on Hastings draft Long Term Plan 2024-2034 is now open.

Communications from Hastings District Council

To see the impact the proposed rate increase would have on your property go to www.hastingsdc.govt.nz...

Then go to www.myvoicemychoice.co.nz... for more information and give us your feedback.

More ways to have your say: Hard copies of the consultation document and a feedback form are being posted to all properties over the coming fortnight, or people can view the document and give feedback at one of the Hastings libraries (Hastings, Havelock North, Flaxmere), or at the council customer service centre on Lyndon Road.
