At the time I suggested that some of what was being discussed may be personal and as such may need to be discussed privately in a different forum. Since then subsequent comments by the lady herself and others have appeared in my in box and I have attempted to read them. The message that pops up say all comments have been removed, really?
Since when did we have a thought police? Who decides what gets published or not.
I accept that comments of a nasty, abusive or derogatory nature may be upsetting and don't need to be here but non of them were. They were simply snippets of comment or advice. So why the censorship?

It's costly in administration and fines and could be instead tacked onto the WoF and petrol, detractors say.

Conservation Week has arrived, which means it's time to show your backyard some love.
There are lots of ways you can get involved. You could set up a backyard trap, participate in a community conservation event, plant a native tree or clean up a local beach.

Five days ago I placed a poll on Neighbourly and this is to thank those who chose to read my item about the potential Levy increase on top or your annual rates.
Currently we are waiting for the Rodney Local Board while they consider Rodney Projects that may be able to be funded by a Transport Levy. These projects will be advised and ratepayers will be consulted for their views. After that course of action, the RLB will decide whether to proceed with the additional levy or not.
You will likely have seen the poll in other District Social Media, along with Board member and my responses. The aim of the article was to bring it to the attention all rate payers, not just the 8% who gave feedback, and I ask you all to keep this issue at the back of your mind over the next 6 months, as you may be asked for comment or to votes in the future. We are talking of $114 - $200 each house.
For those "20" who voted - many thanks and the results are that just 15% of you were prepared to continue to pay the Transport Levy. If you would like to be kept in touch on the matter, I can be contacted on warwickpeterson@hotmail.com.
Once again - many thanks
Cheers
