*Level 4 water restrictions are now in place for Waimārama*
Waimārama residents and visitors - we need your help to conserve water! Due to ongoing high water usage throughout January and prolonged hot, dry weather, level 4 water restrictions are now in place for Waimārama. The current restrictions mean there is a total sprinkler and hose ban in place. We ask that you adhere strictly to the irrigation ban which includes watering gardens and lawns as well as the use of sprinklers or hoses for recreational purposes. The restrictions will extend to the washing of boats if there are indications that supply is not coping with the demand. The rest of Hastings district remains at level 2 for now.
