Digger Operator Layton is removing an old air valve block on the bulk water main running from Naenae Reservoir. The team put in a new, bigger air valve (replacing the one just visible in the wooden chamber) then constructed a new concrete chamber and manhole cover for better service and maintenance access.

The drive is asking for new summer or winter pyjamas (aged 0-18 years). Many of these children have never had a brand new pair of their very own and knowing that someone has shopped especially for them is a huge boost to their self-esteem.
Bayleys Kapiti at 19a Raumati Road, Raumati Beach are participating as a drop point until 26th June. If you can afford to purchase a new pair of pyjamas, these will be gratefully be received by one of these children. Anything we can do to help them feel loved and valued is a huge part of what we do.

These types make up 87% of plastics and can be recycled in New Zealand into useful products.
Plastics numbered 3, 4, 6 & 7 cannot be recycled in NZ and will no longer be collected at the kerb. Please put them in your general rubbish bin. There are no changes to other types of recycling that will be collected such as paper and cardboard, glass and cans.
