For recent Fund recipient Hohepa Thompson, Ōtaki artist and owner of Hori Gallery Ltd – Te Whare Toi o Hori, the Fund helped to open a destination art studio, gallery, café and community space at Ōtaki Beach.
Kim Tasker, a 2022 fund recipient says: “I encourage any Māori pakihi with a valuable kaupapa to tap into the support on offer, for we are all in this together."
