My cat ‘Ollie’ has been missing now since Friday 28 Jan. Grey Male Tabby, 4yrs old, desexed & microchipped. Missing from Ward Street, Wallaceville. We have registered with NZ Lost pet register and posted on FB Pay it Forward Upper Hutt, my daughter has posted on FB Upper Hutt Community Page on Facebook - please could you check your garages & sheds etc. and message if you think you’ve seen him. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
