Upper Hutt Fruit & Vege Co-op
Have you heard about the Upper Hutt Fruit & Vege Co-op? You pay $12 and the money is pooled together and bulk fruit and veges are purchased at wholesale prices, so you cut out the middle man and save $. Generally get around 8kg of seasonal fruit and vegetables for your $12. Great bargains compared to Supermarket prices. Check out the attached image to see how much this week's pack was worth at supermarket prices ($20-$29!)

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚
