You can also walk or cycle there along the coastal walkway, or over the hill down Whitireia Road.

We’ve added some great new activities for land dwellers as well, or for when you’ve finished snorkelling. Anyone aged 8 and above can snorkel (equipment provided) and the land activities are suitable for all ages!

We’re now upgrading the Recycling Drop-off Station in Park Street which will enable us to provide a 24/7 service to the community.

In order to maintain the current service during construction, we’ve moved the original setup to the car parks on the east side of the gate. This change has been made and is now ready for use. With reduced parking and driving space in the area, please be careful and considerate to ensure everyone’s safety in the vicinity of the temporary setup.

Service days and hours remain unchanged for now.
