WEEK BEFORE YOUR MOVE
□ Review your moving plans with your moving consultant.
□ Email or call with questions
□ Contact your bank or credit card company if you are planning to pay for your move by debit or credit card
□ Print two copies of your moving bill and keep one in your move file
□ Notify friends and family of your new address and phone number with a free Moving Notice
□ Pack an essentials box to keep with you during the move
□ Drain gas and oil from lawn equipment, gas grills heaters, etc.
□ Drain water hoses and waterbeds
□ Measure furniture and doorways to determine if larger pieces will fit through the door
□ Empty and defrost refrigerator at least 24 hours before the move
□ Fill any prescriptions you will need during the move
MOVING DAY
□ Place carpet, floor and door frame protectors throughout your home
□ Load goods in a pre-designated order, saving “last load” items for the rear of your shipment
□ Check every room and closet one last time to make sure nothing is left behind
□ Plan dinner (pizza always works)
□ Leave a note with your new address so that future residents can forward stray mail

I feel rather embarrassed about this - BUT a young woman bumped the rear end of my red Toyota Corolla on Monday evening 16 October around 7.40pm. She kindly chased after me until I stopped down the road - she asked if I was the red car she'd hit at the traffic lights - I hadn't felt the … View moreI feel rather embarrassed about this - BUT a young woman bumped the rear end of my red Toyota Corolla on Monday evening 16 October around 7.40pm. She kindly chased after me until I stopped down the road - she asked if I was the red car she'd hit at the traffic lights - I hadn't felt the bump (duhh?) and we both quickly checked but, in the dimming light, couldn't see any apparent damage. HOWEVER on Thursday, I noticed on the lower left-hand side of my rear bumper, there is DAMAGE and it must be the damage done on Monday evening - nothing else could be responsible.
I'm not hugely computer savvy so am sorry I can't include a photo of the damage which isn't huge (possibly why I didn't feel the bump?) but it needs fixing.
I am hoping that the conscientious young woman - or someone who knows her - will please contact me so that we can sort out repair via insurance. Please help me find her. Many thanks.
I have an old fridge freezer that I want to dispose of. Is there anywhere other than the Silverstream tip in the Upper Hutt area?

Schools
□ Notify these services/accounts of your move:
Auto Finance Company, Bank/Credit Union/ Finance Companies, Credit Card Companies,
Exterminator, Health Club, Home care service providers (lawn, exterminator etc.), laundry service,
Magazines, Monthly memberships (Internet, Pay TV etc), Newsletters, newspapers, Pharmacy,
Store/Gas charge accounts
□ Notify these government offices of your move
Vehicle Registration, Social services and school Administration, companies office (If required)
Electoral Role.
□ Don’t forget to update your internet profiles; Facebook, Linkedin etc.
□ Confirm travel arrangements for pets and family
□ Confirm parking for your moving trailer or moving container.

Some good news, they have started sealing the new on ramp.
The on ramp we all use from haywards S58 to upper hutt.
Traffic on SH2 is down to one lane heading towards upper hutt.
In case your not sure what ramp im meaning it's directly across from the manor park railway station.
