Grab a beer and help our furry friends.
This coming Friday relax after a hard week at work at the Southern Cross Garden Bar Restaurant (39 Abel Smith St, Te Aro, Wellington).
On the first Friday of the month from 5pm, they tap a keg of delicious and donated beer, you get to pay by Koha (donation), and they donate all the money raised to a local Charity of the Month. This month the Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society is that Charity!
Spread the word, tell your friends, and pop down on Friday 5th of April to enjoy some delicious beer & supporting a great cause at the same time!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
