Please watch the short video clip .. it just shows how devastating the flooding is in their home.
This is the 2nd time in 3 years its happened, and we have lived here for almost 30 years. The new haywards interchange now funnels water volumes down storm water drains that spill out and floods properties on ford road and the adjacent flats in the Square.
Its bloody heart breaking to watch the families go through this a 2nd time.
The storm water drainage needs over hauling here in manor park ... With the new soon to be built 27 homes .on ford road and manor park road... This water has no where to go ... but into peoples homes !

However this morning the pump experienced an electrical fault, which means there is no water pumping from the bore and reservoir levels are going down. We have our team on site working on a replacement as fast as possible.
The total outdoor water ban is still in place, and the community is encouraged to continue with their water conservation efforts. If the township uses more water than we can supply from the low-manganese bore, we will have to use the other bores as well. That could mean the townβs drinking water becoming discoloured.

βOn Monday evening, the pump on the townshipβs low-manganese bore faulted and is being urgently replaced. With no water being pumped the water reservoir reserves are going down."
Mayor Beijen said he had been advised that installing the spare pump could be done within a day, but until the reservoir levels have recovered and we know the replacement pump is working well, we must conserve water.
βItβs essential that the community immediately responds to this pressing need to conserve water. If the township uses more water than we can supply from the low-manganese bore, we will have to use the other bores as well. That could mean the townβs drinking water becoming discoloured.
βAlthough safe to drink, the water could lose its clarity due to the reaction between manganese and chlorine β we want to avoid discoloured water if we can.
βWeβre addressing infrastructure replacement as fast as possible, and this is unfortunate timing of an equipment failure,β said Mayor Beijen.
Information on how to conserve water will be shared throughout the community β you can find out more at www.wellingtonwater.co.nz...
βWe will update the community when more information is available,β Mr Beijen said.

This was in the house when we bought it and just need it gone. Been sitting in the garage and will need a good clean / tune up Iβm sure.
No keys appear to be broken but I donβt know anything about pianos and I havenβt had a good look at it. Giving away as is where is.
Must pick up from Stokes Valley - easy access. Drive right up to the garage and roll the piano out (it has castor wheels attached to the bottom).
I am very flexible with dates/times as am a stay at home mum.
