We invite you to take part in the Parkinson’s Street Appeal 1-2 November 2019. .
Parkinson's is a progressive and degenerative disease of the brain. Symptoms include tremors, rigidity, and slowness of movement, affecting 1 in 500 NZers. Notable people with Parkinson’s includes Mohammad Ali, Michael J Fox, and Billy Connolly.
The funds collected will sustain our Community Educator Nurses services they provide to people with Parkinson's.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
