CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU SCAM WORKSHOP WEDNESDAY 18 SEPTEMBER 10.30AM
This arrived just now in my inbox - one of the easier ones to spot because of an email address I am quite sure our lovely Richmond at New World Waikanae doesn't use (and also a hotmail email for me which I definitely don't have) -
But they can be so much cleverer, mimicking respectable organisations' websites almost perfectly -
Come to our CABK workshop upstairs in the Rimu Room in Coastlands Shopping Mall next Wednesday morning and bring your friends - we have to get the word out to as many people as we can so that the vulnerable and desperate, particularly those who aren't as familiar with computer technology, aren't fleeced by these awful people!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
