Even a little can help a lot!

Frances from Silverstream

Every year we expect our workload to ease up in winter, but it never does. This year seems busier than ever. We have quite a number of high needs cats and kittens in care at the moment and also have a number of colonies on our radar that desperately need TNR. The problem is we just don't have the funds to push on.
We have reached the end of June and are facing nearly $4000 in food, vet and operating costs that need to be paid over the next three weeks. Our fundraising team is working overtime to help pull us through, but we desperately need a helping hand.
We really need assistance in the way of financial support, but would also appreciate any help with supplies such as cat food and litter. Please let us know if you would be interested in sponsoring a spey or a neuter for a colony cat or if you think there's anything else you might like to help with.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
