Woohoo! We've been waiting for this!
The Waikanae Volunteer Fire Brigade will be doing the Christmas Eve lollie run spreading Christmas cheer in their trucks again this year (thank you so much, you lovely lot!!) -
The maps below gives a rough idea of where the two fire trucks will be going. They will be starting at 6.00pm so if you hear sirens - pop out and see them! ☺️☺️☺️

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
