That’s what the Graeme Dingle Foundation does. Our programmes help young people thrive, develop confidence in who they are to make the most of their precious lives and become positive contributors to our communities.
We are proud to be the official charity of New Zealand Rugby.
Together we’re showing Kiwi Kids that what they have inside is greater than any obstacle.

The Kapiti Branch of the NZ Camellia Society is holding a PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION for SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN in conjunction with their Annual Show on August 17th. The requirement is for a coloured photograph of one or more camellia flowers (details are in the document below). The flowers don't have to be on a tree or in a vase - there is scope to be creative!
Wonderful prizes to be won. Why not bring along a Camellia to display in the Novice Class as well.
The Team from Wellington Water
Wellingtonians are flushing thirty-two tonnes of tampons, nappies and wet wipes each week!!
These items cause blockages and damage to our wastewater network, and often have to be cleared by hand.
Remember to only flush the 3Ps! Poo, Pee and (toilet) Paper 💩🚽🧻

Couldn't figure out why various organizations were declaring a climate change emergency. Nothing underpinning it you understand, no ten point action plan for how this emergency should be addressed. Just a big bold empty proclamation. Now it's starting to unfold as we hear about "the burden of climate change'. Supposedly, this will be used as justification for a whole raft of price increases. These will generally come from the same people whose unfettered greed caused the problem in the first place. Just as the global financial crisis fell right into the neoliberals laps, so too will "the burden of climate change" be used to further gouge out middle NZ. No matter that if we actually addressed climate change by, eg, moving to zero waste, we would save our communities a bundle of dosh. Well...... You can always fool some of the people.......

These Awards recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to protecting our country – in our communities, businesses, on-farm, on-orchard, iwi and hapū, government, in the bush and in our backyards.
If you, an organisation or someone you know is putting in the hard yards to protect New Zealand against pests and diseases, it’s time to shine a light on their achievements.
