A 'Eureka' moment:
I have just found a message hidden in the depths of my inbox - from our local council.
Seems this issue involves the entire Wellington region .. not just Wellington City.
Known as ... 'The Proposed Solid Waste Management and Minimisation Bylaw'.
And every local council will have to create a 'plan'.
The Junk Mail issue is only a very small component of the entire plan.
Perhaps you could check your local council website for info relating to your area.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚
