Community Spirit Tradition 💝

A huge Thank You to our lovely customer Shelley Walker and many other very kind community spirited people have joined Shelley and so kindly made up these wonderful Christmas boxes full of gifts. Lagans were asked to distribute them to those who we know that do not have family to share Christmas with, which we have done. The Christmas season can be hard for many who suffer from ill health or loneliness. This has become a Christmas tradition for Shelley and we thank her for organising everything 💝

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
