Womens Classes for Term 2, 2022
The Upper Hutt Women's Centre classes are beginning for term 2 next week. Our class sizes are small and we have some wonderful facilitators who will make you feel welcome. They are focused on health, well being, education and enjoyment and are affordable for all. If you would like to learn something new or even just connect with others we would love you to come along. This term we are running bellydancing, singing, life redesign, line dancing, macrame, mindful yoga (including a chair based session), oil painting, sewing, sign language and total barre classes. We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
