Meet Norman the white rabbit.
"I am a big boy with a big personality. I wouldn't suit a home with young children. My caregivers tried bonding me with another rabbit but unfortunately it was unsuccessful, so I would love to go to a home with an existing female rabbit to be friends with. We’re happy to chat about the bonding process and what is involved. I will need a secure outdoor pen for daytime and an indoor space for night so I can be a part of the family and keep warm. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
