Have your say on brothels by-law
Today is the International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers and is observed by sex workers, their advocates, friends, families and allies. The Upper Hutt Citry Council is also reminding locals it a timely reminder to have your say on their Brothels Bylaw Review. It is proposing to revoke the current bylaw, and instead manage brothels through our District Plan. We’re keen to hear your views on the proposal.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
