SWIFT Scholarship helps Mum achieve degree
Tokoroa Mum Renee Hirini is on track to complete her three-year nursing degree this year with help of a $5,000 scholarship from the South Waikato Investment Fund Trust (SWIFT).
For those considering applying for the SWIFT scholarship, Renee has nothing but encouragement. “My journey hasn’t been easy, but with the support of the scholarship, the path becomes less daunting.”
Launched in 2023, the $50,000 SWIFT scholarship scheme is breaking down barriers for South Waikato residents of all ages. Applications for SWIFT scholarships for 2025 open until 31 October.
