Think you could ever swim Cook Strait?
Former Tok man David Edgar - now an army major with a PhD in sleep recently swum Cook Strait to raise money for children with dyslexia.
He said the money raised would be split between Marlborough Boys’ College in Blenheim and his old school, Tokoroa High School.
“Chhee Whhoo ToksHard!” he said on the Givealittle page.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

Roadworks on SH1 between Hampton Downs and Rangiriri
