Phone scams
Hi Neighbours , last night I received a call on my landline from a lovely sounding lady apparently representing Microsoft Windows 10. My computer was about to crash and she needed details so that she could remove a virus from her end. I was not willing to give her any details without doing my own research first and she was really insistent and spoke the techno language well. She suggested she ring me back first thing in the morning as this was an urgent issue. I have contacted Microsoft and they don't offer this sort of phone call. My computer is fine.
Please DO NOT GIVE INFORMATION OUT over the phone to anyone especially on an unsolicited call. Be careful people there are scumbags out there try to take advantage of us !

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
