No Xmas Day or New Year’s Day kerbside collections

The Team from Tauranga City Council

Residents whose usual rubbish and recycling collection days are Mondays are advised to put their bins/bags out on the Saturday prior:

If your collection day falls on Christmas Day (Monday, 25 Dec 2017) please put your bins/bags out two days earlier, on Saturday 23 December 2017 for collection.

If your collection day falls on New Year’s Day (Monday, 1 Jan 2018) please put your bins/bags out two days earlier, on Saturday 30 December 2017 for collection.

If you have neighbours or friends in Mount Maunganui, Mataphi, Omanu or Arataki - please share so they don't miss the earlier collections.

Shame on You!

Lisa from Otumoetai

This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
