Call for submissions - begging and rough sleeping provisions in street use bylaw

Communications from Tauranga City Council

Tauranga's current street use bylaw prohibits begging and rough sleeping within 5m of shops in defined commercial areas. This is not enforced by the police, and council staff do not have the power to issue infringements or forcibly remove individuals who are breaching the bylaw without a Court order. Council is proposing to remove the provisions from the bylaw as it considers a bylaw is not the most appropriate way of addressing the perceived problem in relation to begging and rough sleeping in Tauranga. Local yoga classes

Michelle from Yoga for Every Body

Nurturing the mind is just as important as the body.
Too often we get caught in the trap of working on our body image, while we ignore matters of the mind.
The beautiful thing about yoga is that you can work on both simultaneously. Strengthen, tone and increase your flexibility while decreasing stress and anxiety. By using a mix of standing poses and poses done on the ground, you'll focus on breath work and calming the mind throughout your session ❤.
Spaces still available for 8.15 and 9.30am classes tomorrow (Saturday). Book now by contacting Michelle on
