Auckland boaties warned to be watchful for thieves
Thieves have been hitting boats on the Hibiscus Coast and surrounding area.
Rodney police are urging boaties to be vigilant when storing their boats and to boost security for removable items such as electronics, smaller outboards, tote tanks and fishing gear.
"Keep your gear secure and tight lines," said police.
