Warkworth now has a bus service to Auckland

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As part of Auckland Transport's route changes in north Auckland, the new 995 bus service gives Warkworth residents seven-day access to Auckland's public transport network. The first passengers on Sunday morning received a certificate commemorating the ride, a trip that took about 35 minutes from Warkworth to the Hibiscus Coast Station, an hour from Warkworth to Albany, and about 90 minutes to the city. Warkworth is almost 60 kilometers north of Auckland city.

The 995 bus service runs throughout the day with the last bus leaving Warkworth at 6.45pm and the Hibiscus Coast at 7.25pm. Click here to view a timetable.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
