Silverdale firefighters welcome home Black Fern Rebecca Wood
New Zealand Black Fern's Lock and Silverdale firefighter, Rebecca Wood returns home after winning the World Cup.
Wood was surprised with a morning tea celebration on Monday by her family, friends and work colleagues at the Silverdale Fire Station.
She spoke to the Rodney Times about her experience, her career and addressed her thoughts about sexism in sport.
