Decision regarding re-opening Rabbit Island
Does anyone know why TDC choose to re-open Rabbit Island to the public after they had made the decision to close it for public safety?
The additional fire on the Island has meant emergency services have had to split their resources away from Eves Valley and environs, where every resource is desperately needed.
As there is only one exit from Rabbit Island and the vegetation is very flammable when dry this decision appears to have been irresponsible.
