Police looking for three men following crash at Pelorus Bridge. Police are looking for three people following a crash at Pelorus Bridge, SH6 in Tasman this morning.
Police received reports of a driver acting suspiciously shortly before 8am, this was followed by a crash at Pelorus Bridge.
Following the crash the three people in the car have left the scene and are yet to be located.
Police can confirm the vehicle involved in the crash had been reported stolen from Christchurch.
Police would like to speak with the three people, believed to be men, to check on their injuries and also understand what has occurred.
Police believe these three men may now be trying to find transport out of the area.
If any members of the public notice three men acting suspiciously in the Pelorus Bridge area they are asked to call 111.
As a precaution people living in the Pelorus Bridge area are also urged to ensure their property and vehicles are secure.
