State Highway One

Blenheim to Ward is open, drivers must exercise caution when taking this route as there are still many areas with surface damage.
South of Ward is closed to public with access to emergency … View more
Some roads remain closed or damaged after the earthquake and flooding last week.

State Highway One

Blenheim to Ward is open, drivers must exercise caution when taking this route as there are still many areas with surface damage.
South of Ward is closed to public with access to emergency services and residents only.
South of Clarence closed.
Picton to Blenheim - is down to one lane at the elevation passing lane and speed restrictions are in place on the Wairau and Spring Creek bridges.

State Highway 63 is open, driver caution with road works.
State Highway 6 is open, driver caution with road works.

Queen St, Blenheim is closed between Charles St and Arthur St.

Awatere Valley Rd is closed just before Isis bridge.
Ward Beach Rd is closed at the end by the quarry.
Elie Bay Rd is closed.
Tumbledown Rd is closed towards the end.

The following roads are now open but drivers are urged to take care: Queen Charlotte Dr, Kenepuru Rd, Kaparu Rd, Port Underwood Rd, Wakamarina Rd, Gulch Rd.
