You don’t need to be best mates with your neighbours but they might be the people who will support you in an emergency, or they may need your support. Don’t wait for an emergency before you say ‘hi’ at the gate or over the fence. If there’s something going on in your neighbourhood this weekend – join in.

Is this OTT or just plain sensible?
Staff would be trained in how to close the doors of vehicles quietly........ And suggestions a condition be included to ensure vehicles are kept to a standard which reduces, for example, the squeaking of a sliding door.
