Wine rebranded: Canterbury wineries united under one regional name
When you think of pinot noir and sauvignon blanc, you probably don't think North Canterbury. But that could change as 60 vineyards unite under a new brand.
Catherine Keith, chair of the merged association and owner of Mount Brown Estates, says it's hoped wineries can work together to promote the region.
"We feel that Christchurch hasn't quite grasped what a great wine region they have on their doorstep," she says.
