You can be any age, be your own boss, work hours and days that suit you around your own children, earn money while working from your own home and you don’t have to be qualified

We are a Canterbury Ministry of Education licensed service providing education and care for children aged 0 - 6 years with flexible hours available according to parents needs between 6.30am to 7pm. We currently have vacancies available.

We have Educators operating in your area that offer families a safe nurturing homely education and care environment for children. All of our Educators have been selected following a strict recruitment process. Low ratios with a maximum of 4 children each day ensures children learn and grow within an unhurried environment, where they experience everyday activities such as baking, gardening, art, craft, outdoor exploration, visits to local parks, libraries, playgroup, and excursions.

I work in the Canterbury District Health Board. My wife and I have just returned from a trip to Samoa. After Cyclone Gita hit Samoa in February this year, we coordinated the collection, transport and distribution of well over two containers of school/office equipment to Manamolu Baptist School in Apia. The school had four feet of water run through their buildings and much of their equipment was damaged/destroyed.

The equipment we sent over included some old CDHB Laptops, which the school uses to teach the students keyboard skills and basic computing. They have a few, but really want a full compliment so each student in the computer class can use a computer.

Are there any older but still functioning Laptops that need a new home? Even Laptops with Windows XP could be a great help to this school. If you would like to know more, or have an older Laptop to give away, please contact me. Jason 0275844562.

I have collected 4 laptops for Samoa. Thankyou Neighbours. The Principal from the Samoan school will be in CHCH for holiday in early Sept. If there are any other Laptops to 'Pay Forward' to Samoa, please let me know. Jason

Surrounding them are a variety of the latest Steiner chairs, heavy wooden drawers, industrial and rustic tables and minimalist items in the Scandinavian style. Subtle hues and bursts of colour reflect global trends and boutique tastes.

Ngāi Tahu is an iwi whose rohe (area) extends over most of the South Island. In the 1840s, the Crown made a number of large purchases of Ngāi Tahu land. But in the end, the Crown deceived Ngāi Tahu - leaving them landless and impoverished...

Find out more about what happened to Ngāi Tahu, where you live, and how much the land was settled for - it may surprise.
