We are delighted to announce that our lovely book corner chair has been given a new lease of life.
The springs in this chair had broken and our book corner was without a comfy chair. Darren Simons, who is the father of one of our volunteers, offered to provide new springs and fit them. Thank you very much Darren - we are delighted that the chair was able to be saved and once again customers can take time to sit and read a book from our great selection.

People associate bullying with children in schools, but it can actually stretch beyond childhood to workplaces or neighbourhoods.
This Friday is Pink Shirt Day, which began in Canada in 2007 when two students took a stand against homophobic bullying after a new student was harassed for wearing pink. People across the globe are now encouraged to wear pink on this day to take a stand against bullying and promote inclusivity.
