Meet the Candidates at Acacia Cove
Acacia Cove prides itself on being actively involved in the surrounding community and activities therein. It is also the case with the upcoming elections for the Manurewa Local Board. Therefore we would like to extend an invitation to the residents of Wattle Downs to join us during a "Meet the Candidates" meeting on Wednesday 24th January 2018 at 6.30pm.
The meeting will be chaired by our Village Manager, Bruce Cullington. You are welcome to direct all questions in writing to Bruce, as we suspect that there won’t be any opportunity for questions from the floor on the night.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
