❌ PUBLIC WALKWAY CLOSURE ❌
The public walkway near Whitby Collegiate will be closed to most pedestrians today to ensure public safety while our new buildings are craned onto site. Construction staff are available on the site and as and when safe to do so they will allow pedestrian access along the walkway.
There is provision to open through access for approximately half an hour from 3pm in order to allow local primary school children to walk through as usual on their way home from school. Site safety staff will man the access point to ensure the students' safety as they travel through this afternoon.
We are really excited that we are running a little bit ahead of schedule and we're looking forward to our new classrooms being ready for the start of Term 1 next year!
