Whitby vaccine rates
The Ministry of Health has data showing Covid-19 vaccination rates by suburb. For Whitby the percentage of the eligible population to have received at least one vaccination is 88 per cent. And 53 per cent have had the second dose.
This compares to a national average of 77 per cent for first doses and 49 per cent for second doses.
The Government says “it’s never been more urgent” to get vaccinated and has announced a national day of action on Saturday, October 16. So, book your jab online at bookmyvaccine.covid19.health.nz or call 0800 28 29 26.
