Poll: Sinking street hits new low

Jared Nicoll Reporter from Kapi-Mana News

The top end of Albatross Close in Whitby is sinking. It's gone from about 30 centimeters in July to about 1 meter now. There is a temporary access road, but residents are frustrated with the hold-ups and the time it's taking to get the job started on fixing it.

Do you think neighbours, particularly those worse affected with the slip right at the end of their driveways, should get some kind of rates rebate?

*Please put NFP with your comment if you'd rather it wasn't used in a potential news article*

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
