Dogs now must be leashed at Onehunga Bay.

Virginia Fallon Reporter from Kapi-Mana News

A new on-leash dog area has just come into effect at Onehunga Bay at Whitireia Park.
Dogs now must be leashed around the beach, parking area and picnic area at Onehunga Bay. They can be off-leash in the rest of the park, but must be in sight and under voice control.
What do you think of this? Should dogs be kept away from picnic areas?
Do dogs have enough places to run in Porirua City?
Are dog owners getting value from their registration fee?
