Speed to drop on Porirua roads
Speed limits on eight rural Porirua roads should be nearly halved, the councillors have decided.
Harris Road, Moonshine Road, Flightys Road, Murphys Road, Mulhern Road, Bradey Road, Belmont Road and Coroglen Rise, off Airlie Road, should all drop from 100km/h to 60km/h, councillors decided earlier this month.
The proposed changes will now go to NZTA for approval.
What do you think of the decision? Let us know.

On the hunt for a childhood book
Hi guys,
I'm currently trying very hard to find this book and I can't seem to find it locally in stores. I was hoping one of you might have an old copy you weren't in need of anymore 🤞 i would be incredibly grateful 👌😊

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
