Let's talk tiny!
I'm not ashamed to admit I'm taken with tiny houses so I'm pretty happy to see there's a tiny house house conference being held in Kapiti next month.
It got me wondering about tiny homes in Porirua - surely we have some?
I'd absolutely love to speak with people living the (my) dream so, if you're living in or building a tiny home, please send me a message here or on virginia.fallon@fairfaxmedia.co.nz
By the way, the conference is being held at The Kapiti Community Centre, 15 Ngahina St, Paraparaumu on September 9, from 9am till 5pm!

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
