'LONGFIN EELS DUCK CREEK WHITBY'

Susan from Whitby

Could Whitby Residents keep an eye out for the PROTECTION of our Longfin Eels.
Local teenagers have been seen hiding under the bridge with Fishing Rods and Hooking the Eels.
Other Culprits have been seen throwing Chicken Carcass and Sea Urchins into the creek and netting the eels.
Please take Photos of these culprits and forward onto PORIRUA CITY COUNCIL, POLICE AND PREDATOR FREE WHITBY.
The Council have removed a large number of HOOKS FROM THE EELS and are still working to remove more.
THE EXACT LOCATION IS THE BRIDGE NEXT TO SAMUEL MARSDEN COLLEGE.
THESE EELS ARE PROTECTED AND ENDANGERED SO PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT!
